The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that ahead of the 2023 general election, the Continuous Voter’s Registration (CVR) exercise will commence in the first quarter of 2021.
INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu disclosed this during a budget defence session with the Senate Committee on INEC on Wednesday, November 4.
He also stated that the sum of N1billion has been set aside for the exercise.
