Nigeria has finally accepted to test Russia made COVID 19 vaccine on her population. The Nigeria government on Friday confirmednthe arrival of the first sample coronavirus vaccine from Russia.
Report say, it is less than 1 month after the Russian government claims they have successfully developed the coronavirus vaccine and today Nigeria as one of the most populated countries in Africa and the world is receiving a vaccine which effect has not been known due to the short period of time to examine.
The Nigeria Minister of health, Osagie Ehanire received the first distribution during the visit of Russian Ambassador Mr. Alexey Shebarsh to Abuja and he assured the general population of Nigeria that the vaccine will be sent to the National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration control ( NAFDAC ) and other institutions in the country for further verifications. But the population is still to trust the government according to results of the number of people being heal by the vaccine.
Verbal dialogues with Nigerians over the vaccine operation, many Nigerians believe that their present government has failed and it is ready to give their lives for anything, meanwhile others feel their country is testing the vaccine for the better of the citizens.
A source says, " Look careful after UK developed her own, the tested it in South Africa today it is Russia and Nigeria, i will be the last Nigeria to dream of this vaccine talkless of letting them test it on me".
