UNTOLD TRUTH ABOUT KUMBA MASSACRE: CABRAL LIBII, NATIONAL PRESIDENT OF PCRN SPEAKS
The National President of PCRN, Cabral Libii has addressed the Head of state, H.E president Paul Biya of the republic of Cameroon on the Kumba Massacre that happened yesterday Saturday, 24 October 2020.
Cabral Libii, President of National party for Reconciliation has demanded the head of state, H.E President Paul Biya to declare a state of emergency in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon. He says "Mr. President of the Republic, Commander of the Armed Forces, apply this article of the Cameroonian Constitution against the terrorists who murder our children!
ARTICLE 9: (1) The President of the Republic may, when circumstances so require, proclaim by decree, a state of emergency which confers special powers on him under the conditions laid down by law.
(2) The President of the Republic may, in the event of a serious danger threatening the integrity of the territory, life, independence or the Institutions of the Republic, proclaim, by decree, a state of emergency and take any measures he deems necessary. It informs the Nation by means of a message."
This came during a march through the streets of Kumba moments ago organised on the heels of an attack by gunmen on a school yesterday.
CNA STATES THAT ''Recounts during the Ngarbuh massacre in Donga Mantung 2020 where villagers could easily identify persons involved, some former separatists fighters accompanying Government forces, the perpetrators of the Kumba school shooting have remained unknown gunmen, described by witnesses as ‘men heavily armed, looking furious as they asked questions’. A witness who begged not to be named told us, that the victims were students of forms One and Two at Mother Francisca International Memorial Bilingual College in Fiango, Kumba. “They came with guns and machetes. At the time the teachers present saw them, they ran away. Some of the students succeeded to run but others left behind were shot and butchered” a witness said in a chat with CNA newsroom. Government and Separatists have washed their hands off the matter pointing accusing fingers at each other.
