Some Anglophone teachers of GBHS Dschang have called out against discrimination that has been shown to teachers of English speaking decent.
It has been revealed that most of these examination centers in the West Region and particularly in Dschang have been flooded with Francophone teachers as invigilators of the ongoing General Certificate of Education (GCE) Examination, most of whom have misguided the students, especially on question answering.
Most of the examination centers either send away the Anglophone teachers, or tell them the required number of invigilators have been taken.
These Francophone invigilators who most at times know nothing about what they are invigilating, often mislead the students which could prove very fatal come the final results.
“In paper one especially for instance, there are cases of invigilators asking student to circle the correct answer, rather than crossing a line on it like the instructions indicate.”
Numerous other errors have been on the students OMR forms this year. There are fears that should such not be addressed, there would likely be numerous cases of students failing in the examinations just for going against the writing instructions.
