Some workers of the Cameroon Development corporation ( CDC ) banana sector in Tiko, South West Region of Cameroon have been on a protest since wednesday 9 September, 2020 over their job at the plantation being at stake due to recent happenings in the country.
Recounts of the workers in the corporation say, they are suffering from the escalating Anglophone crisis in the Region as they barely have the boldness to come to work due to fear which has led to the abandonment of duty posts by many workers leading to a drop in productions at the plantation.
